Wide cut short sleeve shirt
Made from a white on white striped cotton fabric from the UK.
The fabric is called Seersucker. The word originates from the Persian words shîr and shakar, literally meaning "milk and sugar", from the gritty texture ("sugar") on the otherwise smooth ("milk") cloth. Seersucker is a naturally engineered fabric, developed long before modern synthetics. Its unique structure promotes airflow, moisture evaporation, and all-day comfort — performance by design.
Seersucker gets its unique texture from the way it’s woven. Some threads are held tight, while others are left loose. As the fabric is woven, the loose threads bunch up slightly, creating a natural puckered effect. This special structure helps the fabric stay cool, breathable, and wrinkle-free — without any chemicals.
Finished with genuine mother-of-pearl buttons.
